Traditions are kept alive in Lans. Some customs are practised in a small family circle, others in clubs or groups - and on certain festive days, the whole village is on its feet.
A particular highlight is the Corpus Christi festival, also known as Corpus Christi, which is celebrated in late spring. This is followed in September by the patrocinium in honour of the patron saint of the parish church of St. Lambert. On these occasions, a solemn procession moves through the village: Accompanied by the marksmen, the band, traditional costume bearers, flag bearers and the choir, the Blessed Sacrament is carried through the village while the village and its inhabitants are blessed.
There are also beautiful nativity scenes to admire in many houses and farms. And if you get hungry after all these impressions, you will find what you are looking for in the cosy inns: Culinary delicacies await you there, where old recipes are interpreted in a modern way with fresh, regional ingredients.
