Once the hunting lodge of Emperor Maximilian and the Fugger family, Tratzberg Castle rises high above the Inn Valley and is now privately owned by the Counts of Enzenberg. After a fun ride on the little train or a short walk, visitors can explore the armory, the Queen’s chamber, and the Fugger Room. A special highlight – especially for young visitors – is the enchanting fairytale tour.

Open from early April to the end of October, 10 AM – 4 PM. In July and August until 5 PM.

Very close by, the proud Benedictine Abbey of St. Georgenberg in Stans awaits – Tyrol’s oldest pilgrimage site, home to a treasury of relics. A romantic path leads up to the monastery via stairs and footbridges through the roaring Wolfsklamm gorge, between steep cliffs and waterfalls. The trail starts at the northern end of Stans and is open from May 1 to October 31.
