Explore our Olympic mountain “Patscherkofel”: 86 hiking trails, 15 alpine huts – safe and relaxed with children and grandparents, some routes even suitable for strollers and wheelchairs – or go sporty and alpine, exciting and beautiful, just as your heart desires.

Experience the majestic feeling of reaching the summit cross on Patscherkofel and enjoy many nearby peak tours like Vigarspitz, Neunerspitz, Sonnenspitz, Glungezer, or take on a via ferrata. Be rewarded with panoramic views over the Inn and Wipp valleys and the stunning backdrop of the Karwendel and Stubai Alps.

The seven-kilometer-long Zirbenweg trail above Innsbruck is a beautiful high-altitude hike for the whole family. Take in the natural beauty along this almost flat path, which takes about two and a half hours, past centuries-old Swiss stone pines on a section of the Tyrolean Eagle Walk.

The Alpine School Innsbruck offers free guided hikes with a sense of adventure along the Zirbenweg, Speckbacherweg, or around Patscherkofel throughout the summer – even at sunrise or with lanterns and music.
