LANS
– an 800 year-old Tyrolean village which has developed unaffected by the
hustle and bustle of modern times – is characterized by agriculture,
traditional crafts and gastronomy.

These structures have been preserved until this day.
Traditional hotels and restaurants, farms, a well-tended environment,
healthy are and pristine spring water are only a few of this village’s
outstanding features.

Then and now, Lans was and still is a wonderful place to
spend your holidays. It offers swimming lakes and swampy ponds,
meadows, spruce and stone pine forests, mixed woodlands,
pastures and well-tended Alpine pastures.

Of course, Lans also has a lot to offer to those seeking “active”
holidays.
Why not try golf, horseback riding, hiking, swimming at the Lansersee
(Lake Lans), free hiking bus with guide and a free childrens program in the summer!
Or one of the numerous winter sports like skating on Lansersee,
cross-country skiing, skiing at the popular Patscherkofel mountain with free
transport from Lans.... You’re guaranteed to find something to suit your taste!

After a day full of activity, why not reward yourself with a delicious evening
of traditional Tyrolean cuisine or international specialties at one of our
renowned restaurants?
